What documents are required for a DreamSpring loan application? 

Getting ready to apply? Depending on the amount you're requesting, we'll need different documents to complete your loan application.

For All Loan Applications 

All loan applications require the following: 

  • A valid photo ID 
  • A “selfie” photo of you holding your photo ID 
  • Your most recent personal tax return  
  • Your three most recent months of personal and business bank statements 

For Requests Over $50,000 

If you're applying for more than $50,000, we’ll also need: 

  • Your two most recent paystubs (if relying on wage income for cash flow)  
  • Your three most recent years of complete personal tax returns 
  • Your three most recent years of complete business tax returns (as many years as possible if your business is less than three years old) 
  • By-laws, Operating Agreement, or Partnership Agreement AND Articles of Organization/Incorporation 
  • A business plan and three years of financial projections (if you're a startup) 
  • Year-to-date financial statement (if applying after April 15 of the current year) 

For Requests Between $15,001 – $50,000 

For loan requests between $15,001 and $50,000, we’ll also need: 

  • Your two most recent paystubs (if you earn wage income) 
  • Your two most recent years of complete personal tax returns 
  • Your two most recent years of complete business tax returns, including all K-1s (if using business income for repayment) 
  • A personal financial statement (if available) 
  • Articles of Organization/Incorporation 
  • Year-to-date financial statement (if applying after April 15 of the current year) 
    • If a current year-to-date financial statement is not available, your third most recent tax return will be required 

For Requests $15,000 or Less 

For loan requests $15,000 and less, we’ll also need: 

  • Your two most recent paystubs OR your most complete personal tax return 
  • Your most recent business tax return 
  • Year-to-date financial statement (if applying after April 15 of the current year)  
    • For requests $10,000 or less: Your three most recent months of personal and business bank statements can be used instead of year-to-date financial statement to verify income
